It’s unclear why a man was walking on Interstate 95 when he was hit and killed Sunday night. The incident occurred on the northbound lanes of the interstate near Oakland Park Boulevard. “The gentleman came right out of the trees and running into traffic,” said witness Charles Montes. “All I could notice was his hair. I told my cousin, ‘Slow down, there’s somebody in the middle of the road.’ And next thing you know he’s laying next to us, next to our van.”
